How we work together

Every garment is made to order for one client. You are commissioning work rather than buying a finished product from stock, which is why quotations, deposits and fittings work the way they do.

A quotation states the price, the deposit and the production timeline. It is valid for 14 days unless we say otherwise. Prices shown on design pages are starting prices; the final figure depends on fabric, sizing and finishing, and is only fixed once you accept a quotation.

Production begins once the deposit is confirmed, not when it is reported. The balance is due before or at collection. Payments made by mobile money or bank transfer are confirmed by the atelier once they arrive, which can take a little time.

Deposits cover fabric and work already committed and are non-refundable once cutting has begun. If we cancel a commission ourselves, the deposit is returned in full.

Timelines assume you attend fittings when they are booked. Missed or repeatedly rescheduled fittings will move your completion date, and we will tell you when that happens rather than let a deadline pass quietly.

Small adjustments during production are expected and included. Changes that alter the design, fabric or size significantly after cutting may be re-quoted, and we will always agree that with you before doing the work.

We stand behind our fit. Adjustments to a piece we made are handled at the atelier, and are free within the first weeks after collection unless the change is to the design itself or reflects a significant change in measurements.

Finished garments are held at the atelier for 60 days after we tell you they are ready. Beyond that we may charge storage, and we will contact you well before that point.

We may photograph finished pieces for our own gallery and social channels. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not, no explanation needed. Inspiration images you upload are used only to understand your commission.
