How we handle your information
Plainly stated, and no longer than it needs to be.
What we collect
When you request a quotation, book an appointment or contact us, we collect your name, phone number and, if you give it, your email address. We also keep what you tell us about the commission: the occasion, your budget, deadlines, any inspiration images you upload, and your measurements once they are taken.
For orders, we keep a record of quotations, payments, receipts and the production stages your garment has passed through.
Why we keep it
To make your garment, to quote accurately, to reach you about your order, and to keep the measurements and history that make a repeat commission easier. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell your information.
Who can see it
Only the atelier team. Your information is not shared with third parties except where it is unavoidable to run the business, such as the payment provider processing a card transaction, or our hosting provider storing the database.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept as long as we are required to for accounting purposes. Measurements and contact details are kept so returning clients do not have to start again, and are removed on request.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for a correction, or ask us to delete your details. Where we are legally required to keep financial records, we will tell you which parts we cannot remove.
Write to olgaishimwe@laolgacouture.rw and we will respond.
Tracking links
Order tracking links contain a private token so you can follow a commission without an account. Anyone with the link can see that order, so treat it as you would a receipt. These pages are never indexed by search engines.
